Document Accessibility Training

Centre for Inclusive offers document accessibility training to give your staff sound knowledge of accessibility across a range of documents. Our training sessions are half or full day with each session covering different amounts of products.

Our half day session covers how to create accessible Microsoft Word and PDF documents. This session will cover:

  • How to ensure your headings and navigation are accessible
  • Alt texts for images
  • How to create an accessible table
  • How to ensure tagging is correct and in order

Our full day sessions covers how to create accessible Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, InDesign and social media. This session will cover:

  • How to ensure your headings and navigation are accessible
  • Alt texts for images
  • How to create an accessible table
  • How to ensure tagging is correct and in order
  • Improving accessibility to Excel spreadsheets
  • Social media accessibility strategy
  • InDesign (CS6 or Creative Cloud) accessibility tips
  • Accessible forms and maps
